ASHIKO DJEMBE DJUN DJUN STANDING DRUM TALKING DRUM DJEMBES: Our djembes are made from rose wood, which is highly tolerant to severe weather conditions, almost never crack. They are adorned with floral carvings, stretched with goat skin with hair left on the rims, tunable by rings and cord. The djm3 is carved from solid mango wood, without the floral carvings and the hair on the rim.
ASHIKOS: These ashikos are also make from rose wood for weather tolerance. They are beautifully carved with floral designs. They are ring and cord tunable with natural hair on the rims and shaved playing head. DJUN DJUN: The djun djuns have rosewood stave constructed shell, they are two headed with goatskin. Tunable with cord and rings, one head has natural hair. STANDING DRUMS: These African style drums are beautifully carved with rosewood stave construction with ring and cord tuning. These drums are strung with goatskin with hair on the rims and a shaved playing head. TALKING DRUM: Deluxe wooden two headed "talking" drum. The heads are held together by rings and cord. They are held under the arm and played with a stick (included). The cords are squeezed for a great whaaa -whaaa sound.
